High pressure directional water cutting (Root & Grout cutting)
In many thousands and thousands of sewers/pipelines in the UK, many suffer obstructions from grout, roots, and general stubborn obstructions. Many cause regular maintenance problems with risk of flooding in storm conditions. 
Standard cleaning and jetting will remove most obstructions, but a proportion of those obstructions such as heavy roots and grout cannot be removed by standard methods.
Our high pressure directional water cutter can be used to remove those stubborn obstructions such as grout and mass roots. The cutter will operate in pipes between 150mm and 450mm very effectively using various pressures. This system is very effective in removing those stubborn obstructions where jetting alone is ineffective.
The cutter head is remotely controlled by the operator above ground with CCTV support, therefore using manual assistance in cutting the roots, or removing grout. Debris from the cutting works is removed from the pipeline and collected in the manhole for disposal using general/standard jetting methods.
CCTV surveying equipment is used during the operation to ensure optimum operation and effectiveness. Pre-CCTV and post-CCTV surveys are also carried out.
