CCTV Surveys (Forward facing and pan & rotate cameras)
Drain, sewer, pipeline maintenance is essential in planning strategy, and managing the assets effectively providing infrastructure with effective low maintenance. With effective CCTV surveys, preventive works can be taken before high maintenance and reactive works are needed.
With the visual CCTV surveys on tape we can supply written reports highlighting defects found which may lead to potential problems in the future. Where required we can provide appropriate solutions, either by open-cut repairs or by no-dig methods providing preventative works and maintenance where required before major pipeline/sewer failures occur.
CCTV pipeline surveys are carried out during investigative work, maintenance, nodig/trenchless technology, and directional water cutting works.
Our surveys are performed using forward facing, or pan and rotate colour cameras that can be recorded onto DVD/VHS video tapes for our clients records.
Forward facing self levelling push rod CCTV cameras can be used in small pipelines from 4" (100mm) or where difficult obstructions such as bends or deformation cause problems for standard CCTV crawler units.
Pan and rotate CCTV cameras are very effective where full inspection of pipelines and laterals are needed where standard forward facing cameras are inadequate. These cameras mounted to crawler units can travel down pipelines thoroughly inspecting/surveying the pipeline including joints, laterals, and where structural damage is evident.
Our CCTV camera units are also mobile so that hard to get at areas can still be surveyed, such as behind houses, or through difficult properties where a fixed mainline CCTV camera unit would be unable to access.
